Welcome to Ataker Decent Migration Foundation Ltd, a Ugandan organization empowering exploited migrant workers to rebuild with dignity. Based at Plot 18, Martyrs’ Way, Ntinda, Kampala, we break the cycle of exploitation through dedicated support and advocacy. Our mission ensures migrants—whether deported or seeking fair opportunities—thrive with legal aid, ethical jobs, and skills training. We’re driven by a vision of a world where migration opens doors, not traps.
Our 2024-2029 plan drives Ataker Decent Migration Foundation forward. We partner with IOM for legal advocacy, securing migrant rights under global standards. We connect Ugandans to safe overseas employment, negotiating fair wages and conditions with ethical employers. Skills training and education programs empower migrants to stand on their own, while healthcare services heal both body and mind. Community efforts, like cultural workshops, build bridges between migrants and Ugandan locals, fostering unity and understanding across borders.
Ataker is a movement—collaborating with governments and NGOs to amplify migrant voices with transparency. Since 2023, our efforts have supported 1,000+ migrants and built 20+ partnerships.
